Meastro not connected

Post by billhofe128 »

Im having a issue where all of a sudden my pioneer 4660nex will display function unavailable as meastro is not connected please check connections, it will flash this screen back and forth between at random times , sometimes it will do it for an hour straight , other times for a minute, sometimes it doesnt do it for several days, ive checked all the connections several times and everything is tight and looks great. I have reset the module and disconnected the battery as well. Its so random when it does it but its super annoying as while its doing it , heat functions and steering functions no lknger operate. 2013 f150 with k150 kit

How long has this product been installed? It is possible there could be a bad data cable, or an issue with the data port on the RR or the radio.

Id say ive had installed for approval a year now. I plan to replace the head unit very soon as i cant stand the pioneer volume controls. Is it possible to get just a new data cable? I would like to replace it with the radio

just wanted to finally get back to ya peeps. i removed the meastro module and reflashed it, the radio immediatly started doing it again, i also replaced the data cable, i checked the radios firmware and it as 1.3 , went to pioneer and updated it to 3.0 , so far it hasnt occured since , maybe the software in the radio was the issue ? we shall see
