Boss BE62CP and 2008 Honda CR-V

Post by willk »

Purchased and Installed Boss BE62CP in 2008 Honda CRV with iDatalink Maestro RR and iDatalink HRN-RR-HO1 with the intention of retaining Steering Wheel Controls.
Purchased from Crutchfield. When Flashing the Maestro RR the Boss BE62CP radio was not an option. There were 3 options none being my radio. I called Crutchfield and they told me to choose the one most similar to mine.
Currently my Steering Wheel Controls are not working and when I push buttons on the steering wheel the light does not go on at all on the Maestro. Before I go crazy trying to figure if there is a wiring issue:
1) Would choosing the wrong Flash cause this problem?
2) Which software/radio should I choose when flashing, that would be compatible with Boss BE62CP if any? Or is this going to be a forever problem?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Flashing for the wrong vehicle could cause it not to detect, but for the wrong radio wouldn't result in no flashes with button presses.

When you turn it on, does the LED on the module do anything at all, even briefly?
