Car Details:
2008 honda civic ex w/o navigation. steering wheel controls present.
I have a maestro sw and I am unsure which wires on the maestro need to be hooked up to the harness in the car. I have already updated the firmware for the unit as per the instructions in the weblink sw.
Here are the pins that i am guessing that will be used:
On the Maestro side:
01 PURPLE/RED - SWI CIRCUIT 1 INPUT
02 PURPLE/YELLOW - SWI CIRCUIT 1 OUTPUT/ANALOG 1 INPUT
03 PINK/RED - SWI CIRCUIT 2 INPUT
04 PINK/YELLOW - SWI CIRCUIT 2 OUTPUT/ANALOG 2 INPUT
05 BLACK/WHITE - SWI GROUND FEED (-) OUTPUT
06 RED - ACCESSORY POWER +12V INPUT
07 BLACK - GROUND
Pin 06 and Pin 07 are pretty self explanatory. However for the other pins I am unsure.
here are the pins I think are going to be used based on the honda service manual:
A4 -> Multiplex integrated control unit(SCTY RADIO)
A6 -> Multiplex integrated control unit (K-Line)
A13 -> ECM/PCM (VSP)
All the other pins on the harness have a familiar assignment on the radio side.
please advice on what wires on the maestro side should be hooked up.
Thanks.

When the unit gets flashed online or with our desktop software a vehicle specific guide will be dynamically generated, showing you what wires from the SW harness get hooked to what colors on the factory wiring harness coming from the vehicle.

I also have an 08 Civic and the printout is giving me wires that do not exist.
I have been looking at it for two days.
Specs
08 Civic EX
Satellite Rado
No Amplifier
Stereo has a 17 pin harness

Re: Maestro SW wiring to 2008 honda Civic for steering wheel controls
So... I went back to Crutchfield and purchased the Maestro HO1 and Maestro RR
Everything is working EXCEPT the steering wheel controls.
When I push the steering wheel buttons there are no lights.
