Parking Sensor Too Loud

Post by rchacon » Wed Oct 18, 2017 2:15 pm

Does anybody know if the parking sensor volume can be adjusted. I have a 2017 RAM DSR1 install and had to disable the parking sensor as they are way too loud. If they were 10db lower that would not be too much.

• Set the audio source to OFF. If there is no way to turn the radio OFF, set the source to AUX.
• The OEM radio will have 3 volume settings for parking assist (Low/Med/High)
• Activate any chime (ex: rear parking assist).
• Adjust the chime volume using the volume knob.

Thanks for the reply. I tried that. Even on the lowest setting it is still too loud. I would be nice if there was a greater range of adjustment.

Have you updated your DSR recently? I believe this should be resolved in the most recent firmware update.
