One came back, and the head engineer left on vacation until the 28th. This time of year it's hard to make things move quickly with everyone taking vacation time.

I understand, final offer 2 cases and a box of Tim Hortons old fashioned every day for a week. My better half is on the verge of strangling me if I don't get her car back together. Maybe I can spin it and tell her it was always meant to be a Christmas present. Let me know where to send the beer and donuts.

Dara,
Can you supply me with an update please. It's been almost six months since the firmware was pulled from the web page.
Thank you,
John K

I'd give you an update if there was one to give. The engineer has not been able to allocate time to start a whole new firmware (which is essentially what this would be).

Ouch that was a big hit to the wallet. Know anyone who wants to buy a DSR1 with harness and 6 channel amp?

Dara,
I know this is the AR section but would like to know if I replace the head unit with a Kenwood datalink compatible head unit IE Kenwood Excelon DNX995S. Using an RR unit will I be able to keep the steering wheel controls and rear camera. Might just start from scratch on this project. Just want to be sure I can purchase everything I need to make this retrofit as seamless as possible. Let me know or if you could please point me in the correct direction so I can start purchasing the proper gear.

Thanks again,
John K

The 18 impreza is a different platform than what we currently support. We're working on covering it, but I don't have an ETA at this time.
