Wiring Question

Post by IllWillz » Thu Mar 08, 2018 10:51 pm

I'm using the T02 harness with my '14 Corolla LE and attempting to install my Pioneer AVH4200NEX radio. Please look at this specific diagram for reference:

http://images.idatalink.com/corporate/C ... 180110.pdf

In the link provided above, there are two specific wires I'm concerned with that are the pink wire (vehicle speed) and the yellow/black (foot brake) wire. There isn't a specific vehicle speed or a foot brake wire that is on the original wire harness provided by Pioneer. Now there is a yellow/black wire, but it is not a brake wire but a "mute" wire.

For reference look at this video Pioneer has uploaded regarding their hardness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bF3uzzaT30

I'm guessing I properly terminate the end of the wires that I'm inquiring about since they are not going to be used (such as the green/yellow wire on T02 harness) and continue on with the install.

The pioneer doesn't have a VSS or foot brake input, so no need to hook those up.
