2016 RAV 4 Limited

Post by derbyref » Fri Jan 06, 2017 1:25 pm

I have a 2016 Limited with the standard radio/infotainment system. NOT JBL no tech package.

What head unit would be best to use I am looking any of the following

Kenwood Model: DNX573S
Kenwood Model: DNX773S
Pioneer Model: AVIC-8200NEX

My primary concern is keeping as much of the factory functionality of the factory system with the replacement.

I'm open to other brands and models is there is one that excels above the others in how it interacts withe the Maestro systems.

All 3 of these radios will give you identical maestro support. Ultimately, it comes down to what user interface you like, what looks best to you, and what features you want in the head unit.

As I look at the website and look at the various products I'm a little confused by what is supported and what is not.

Additionally the picture of the steering wheel on the site is a little off but the same functions when I look at the simulator. Is there any functions that are NOT supported that the current factory infotainment system?

And thanks for the rapid response

When using an iDatalink compatible radio, we retain: Steering wheel controls, OEM vehicle settings, backup camera, OEM amplifier, and controls for the OEM amplifier. We also add the gauges and vehicle info features.

OK then the last question is which module should I purchase for my 2016 rav 4

The RR-TOY02-DS
or
the MAESTRO RR

Is there a difference is there an advantage or disadvantage?
