2014 Tacoma non-JBL w/ Kenwood DDX9704s TPMS and some gauges not working

Post by navynuke » Thu Sep 20, 2018 11:58 am

I recently installed a Kenwood DDX9704s in my 2014 Toyota Tacoma non-JBL. Steering wheel controls work, most of the OBDii stuff works and is reporting. However TPMS is not working, I get NAs and system not found. Also transmission temp isn't reporting either. Any ideas?

Located in the US. I did notice the transmission temp showed up. Still no TPMS though.

Have you tried to reset the Maestro unit yet? if not you can right through the radio... go into the AV menu then OEM Setup/Maestro Settings/Maestro Module/Module Master Reset then select OK to reset it. the radio will turn off then back on once the RR has been reset. At that point the TPMS should start reporting.

Master reset did the trick. Thanks for all the help. I was afraid of doing the master reset and then having to reflash the module, looks like that’s not an issue.
