2016 RAV4 Bluetooth MIC

Post by 2016RAV4 » Sat Oct 28, 2017 2:56 am

Hi,
Does anyone know if the factory MIC on a 2016 Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid works with the Maestro RR? Or do I have to use the included MIC that comes with the stereo? I will be using a Kenwood DMX7704S stereo.

Additionally, the factory steering wheel controls on my RAV4 look different than what is displayed on the idatalink's website. Will this affect programming? Below is a pic of what my steering wheel controls look like:

You will need to use the kenwood microphone in your installation. The factory microphone is not used on that application. As far as the steering wheel controls, as long as the audio buttons are the same, then you can flash it for the wheel that has the same number and type buttons. We are not concerned with the layout of the audio buttons for flashing, just as long as they are the same in number and type. We are also not integrating or concerned with non-audio buttons on the wheel.
