front to rear speaker fade 2012 ram 1500

Post by reaper1313 » Mon Oct 05, 2015 10:44 pm

I have a pioneer avh-x5700bhs and all the wires have been correctly matched (i checked twice), but when i try to make sure my speakers are functioning properly the front to rear fade is reversed. any ideas without having to swap the front and rear speaker wires. is there a setting i'm missing? My firmware is up to date on the radio and I flashed the Maestro RR before installing.

Ok so let me ask this in the installation it said if you had wiring in pins 19-22 you didn't have a factory amp, but if you didn't you did. My question is that I only had 1 wire in pin #22 the others were blank so I was a bit confused on whether or not it had a factory amp.

You either have 2 or 4 sets of speaker wires. Look at the sets of green, white, gray, and purple speaker wires on the maestro harness and trace across to the factory side. If you have wires in all 4 channels, there is no amplifier. Or you could try switching the plugs back and see if it resolves your issue.
