Installed the Kenwood DNX893S and all firmwares updated on Kenwood and Maestro.

Clock now works during the noon hour and temp is working correctly during that hour in the cluster display.

When I start navigation, I see navi directions show up in the cluster display for a second or two. Not sure if this is in beta or if this is actually supposed to work.

That radio should be capable of sending nav information to the EVIC display. Does the navigation information pop up again during navigation (ex: it shows up for two seconds when you start it, then shows up again for two seconds on the next turn) ?

No, it only seems to popup when I first start navigation. It may appear again, but I don't think there is a pattern to it.

Ok... one unrelated follow-up question; Are your forward collision warning chimes working now?

I need to go back to the installer who didn't hook up the Maestro external speaker and I will report back.

In the meantime, you should be able to set the chime to come through the door speakers by changing it to "vehicle speaker" in the settings menu.

As a follow up, all chimes are working correctly, including Forward Collision system.

Looks like the only remaining bug is the Nav info in the EVIC display.

Good deal! We're still looking into the nav in the evic display.

Hi, just seeing that 2015 Grand Cherokee is supported. Nice!

Some questions:
1. Does it support toggling ECO mode? (http://st.motortrend.com/uploads/sites/ ... o-mode.jpg)

2. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but are there any good recommendations for dash kits for 2015 Grand Cherokee?

1. Is that button part of the radio bezel? If so, it should just pop into the new dash kit.

2.We are working on making a dash kit for this vehicle, but I don't have an ETA on its release date yet.

Just checking in. It's been one year since I've updated the firmware. Since I can't find a change log, are there any fixes or enhancements making it worthwhile to update firmware? Everything is in working order, but I just thought I would ask.

Thanks.

There haven't been any updates pertinent to your vehicle or radio type in the last year.

I'm currently installing a alpine x008u in a 2015 jeep grand Cherokee. Will I be able to use the existing mic? Everything else seems to work fine. I'll will check my heating options shortly.

Because the OEM microphone is part of uConnect and uCOnnect cannot be retained, the OEM mic is unable to be used.
