MRR for 2014 Chargers?

Post by BrewFixer » Sun Apr 13, 2014 10:03 pm

Just curious if the Maestro RR will be available for the 2014 Dodge Charger with Uconnect? Not a fan of the factory Head Unit as it is strictly catered to IPhone/IPod and I am an android user so my interface is less than pleasant. I want to upgrade the HU to possibly the Kenwood DNN990HD or similar but this is an integral piece since I need to retain the vehicle settings interface. I see that the Challenger is supported but not the Charger.

Thanks

The radio in the charger is different than the challenger. We'll start working on a solution for the new chryslers in the next couple of months (we have 2 firmwares we're about to release, and chrysler is next in line to be developed). I hope this helps.

Thanks there are many Charger Owners very excited to hear this. I just want to clarify... When you mention Chrysler does that include Dodge as well?

Thanks. That is very good news and there are many Charger Owners who would be very happy to hear that. Just so I am not mistaken, when you mention Chrysler, that also includes Dodge? Sorry for the double POST as I could not remember if I hit the submit button on the last post or not...

Thanks

Yes, when I say chrysler, I mean chrysler, dodge, and jeep.

Hopefully when this development starts for the Dodge vehicle especially Chargers, it starts with the 2014 model year and not the 2011 as 2010 was the last model year supported.

All the Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep vehicles that have switched over to the 8 or 4.2 inch touch screen radios will be covered by this development (with the exclusion of the Dart).
