2012 Wrangler - No audio from head unit after install

Post by ibescott1979 » Sat Jun 16, 2018 10:21 am

Hi,

I installed a Pioneer AVH-2330NEX and I'm not getting any audio out. According to the direction, I HAVE a factory amp and I want to retain it. I connected everything together and plugged it in. Radio turns on, steering wheel controls work, it shows the station that is playing, yet no audio from any speakers. I double/triple checked my connections, all 8 wires are soldered for the speakers with heat shrink. Tried an old Pioneer I had laying around and same result. It appears it isn't turning on the factory amp or not sending it signal. I reflashed the Maestro and still same results. Any ideas?

I don't think it's a flashing issue.

Did you connect the blue/white wire from the Pioneer to the CH1 harness? When the radio's initial setup popped up, what did you select for connection type- standard or network mode? It needs to be standard or you will have weird issues with audio.
