2012 Jeep JKU Uconnect

Post by jo11ymon » Mon Dec 11, 2017 3:20 pm

I installed a Kenwood DDX9903S with the Maestro RR and CH1 harness this weekend.

for the Wrangler I did not get the "Chrysler" options that were explained in the guide.

the biggest piece that I have missing is the center console USB to play my IPod I have been able to use the steering wheel controls, get texts, make calls with the Uconnect so it seems that the maestro is working - sort of.

is there any other part that is needed?

Depending on the type of the factory radio installed in the Jeep determines if we are able to maintain the Uconnect systems in the vehicle, which includes the USB in the console. Which factory radio do you have?

I had the RES w/phone as the original radio. I have not tried a Flash drive. As I did not see a Uconnect USB on my display.

I also did not see a Uconnect BT option either.

You should see a source in your radio's source menu that says "uConnect Media" or "OEM Media" for your factory USB.
