Jeep Wrangler Chevy LS3 Hybrid

Post by Frank888 » Sun Feb 05, 2017 11:57 am

I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area but I have a unique vehicle application. I own a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with a 2012 Chevy Camaro Gen IV LS3 engine installed. There are separate OBD2 ports for both the Jeep and the LS3 engine. I have the Kenwood DDX9702S DVD receiver installed and would like to get the Gauges & Vehicle info from the LS3 onto it. I do not have steering wheel controls. My jeep has a factory alarm system with remote start. I would also like to have the capability to use an app on my smart phone to arm/disarm alarm and remote start vehicle. I have seen the Drone Mobile DR-3100 Add-On Module for the smart phones but not sure if they will work with your products. I am needing the info for the correct Maestro and any suggestions for the module to use for remote start from smart phone.

The Compustar Drone will not work with an OEM remote start. It only works with aftermarket equipment.

Which Meastro would I use to get the LS engine info to my Kenwood receiver? Is there a module out there that works with factory alarm and remote start? Or would it be best to bypass factory alarm and go aftermarket?

There are no add on aftermarket devices for the factory remote start. You would have to add an aftermarket remote start in order to add Drone.

As for your radio situation, we don't make any products for Jeeps with Chevrolet engines. On the 2012 Camaro we only support Steering wheel controls. So we do not have any applications to add gauges to your Camaro motor.
