2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

Post by reevlak » Tue Dec 13, 2016 6:16 pm

Hi there, im getting ready to install the new SONY XAV-AV100 using RR-AVCH1-andCH1 however the headunit is not listened under the drop down menu for the fireware update. Can i just select the XAV-712HD since this headunit is very simple and does not have all the customization of the carplay units.

thank you in advance.

This radio is brand new and all of our firmwares have to be updated to add it. I have our engineers working on it, and will let you know when it's done. i wouldn't recommend flashing as another radio; your steering wheel controls probably wouldn't work right.

I am waiting on word from the engineers that the firmwares have been updated. I will post as soon as I have something. It shouldn't be too much longer.
