OEM Remote Start Not Working

Post by budhabaier » Mon Jan 15, 2018 7:09 pm

Just installed, in my 2011 Chevy Silveradao with UQ3 (no amp), an Alpine iLX-207 using Maestro RR and GM5+ harness. Used aftermarket SiriusXM tuner with the OEM antenna and using the radios Bluetooth; I did load OnStar support.

My issue is the OEM remote start is no longer working. When I push the buttons on the key fob, the appropriate lights flash, but the truck does not start. What is even weirder, I had it at the dealer for an unrelated issue, it did start after they reconnected the battery and the radio was off.

Any ideas?

If you unplug the maestro's connections from the OBD2 plug, does the remote start work?
