web link update??

web link update??

Hi guys I finally got the weblink mobile and when i plug it in needs a an upodate as its 1.1 and needs 1.4(or somethinig like that). When i click ok to to update it comes with an error to the tune of "serial not supported" now this is with no ADS module hooked up. If i go past that it just has a memo stating not to unplug .. I have watied for 30 minutes and nothing..
* Note: I have a new iPhone 5c*

Unplug the 4 pin cable from your weblink USB on the PC. Then plug your weblink mobile into the weblink PC flasher. Go to the website and hit flash your module. it will detect the flasher. Then flash the new firmware.

Ah. I was just thinking that myself. Was wondering how to plug into PC. Thanks for your assistance.

I just tried what you had said and it says "device not recognized". Am I to have power to the weblink mobile unit via the power cord.

I tried with power hooked up to weblink mobile unit and it says to contact tech support.

Kind of weird Brian but I might have talked to you. If not the other Brian I spoke with said that we may have a version that is not supported. Or we have a bad weblink mobile module. Going to get new one at the warehouse and try from there. Just want to get this working before it gets too cold. Thanks again

Yes sir there is only one Brian. This is strange for sure. Let me know how it works out when you get another weblink.
