2009 Cobalt SS

Post by RatchetRay » Mon Jun 04, 2018 10:55 pm

HI, I have a 2009 Cobalt SS with the factory Pioneer system with OnStar.
I will be installing a Pioneer mvh-2300nex soon.
This application doesn't appear to be supported by your Maestro RR, is there any way to have some sort of modified install? I would really like to have the gauge display option, keep the steering wheel controls, and would be perfectly fine sacrificing OnStar and/or XM radio as I won't be subscribing anyway. Crutchfield reccomends Metra products for the install and I would prefer your products.
Thank you

We don't have a solution that would do what you want in this vehicle. Gauges aren't a possibility due to the data speed of your diagnostic lines being incompatible with the RR. As the website states, the only thing we can do with this car is retain the steering wheel controls.

That's disappointing. Thank you for the quick reply.
