2016 F150 with RR Module and Alpine ILX207 AM/FM Radio

Post by leamdav » Thu Apr 19, 2018 3:54 pm

I have been unable to get the FM radio to work on my new receiver. It doesn't appear there is a connection for what I think is the old radio connectors. Am I missing a specific connector? Its like the antenna is not connected at all.

the F150 needs an antenna adapter since the factory fm antenna is not your standard Motorola end. Many companies make it and can even be picked up at your local auto parts store.

Thank you! I will look into this. Was this noted anywhere in the install docs?

normally no, we do not list what other accessories are needed like the dash kit or antenna adapters since there are multiple companies that sell those products and we do not.

Alright next question would be, how do I connect my factory Sirius XM antenna to the alpine ilx207? Do I need to use the SXV300v1 adapter?

You would need this part, plus a SXV300 module:
