New issues with Windows 10

Post by spencerforhire » Sun Sep 25, 2016 9:19 pm

A couple of months ago, my laptop took it upon itself to upgrade from Windows 8 to windows 10. No Weblink. With some help, I figured out that Microsoft Edge is different from Internet Explorer(why on earth would they use such a similar icon?). Found thew IE lurking in the corner, and I was good to go.
A week ago, the laptop did an extensive update, and the IE disappeared. After some hunting through menus, I found it again, but when I tried to flash a bypass, I got an error message that I needed to update my Weblink. Downloaded and run that, but it still tells me i need to update.
Seriously thinking about going back to Windows 8; Weblink is only one of a bunch of things that no longer work.

You may need to run net frame 3.5. Windows recently did an update and that patch might be missing.

If you click on the three dot ". . ." on top right of Edge, there's an open to "Open with Internet Explorer"

Use that to use weblink

Check out "IE Tab": https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... urce=gmail
